How Many Kinds of Swim Camps Are There to Choose From?

There are tons of swim camps out there, ready to help you grow and reach new heights as an athlete, but which one is the best fit for you this summer? Well, that depends on what exactly you’re looking for.

At Fusion Swim Camps, there are a handful of different options to sift through.

Overnight Swim Camps

If you don’t mind spending a few days away from home, then the overnight swim camp option is definitely up your alley. This is an all-inclusive opportunity that lasts for a total of five days and four nights. It includes over six hours of training every day, but the entire experience is fun! There are evening activities, all-you-can-eat buffets (which are always fun) and dorm room accommodations.

Extended Day Swim Camps

Do you want to get all that time in for training, but would rather just head home and sleep in your own bed at night? Well, we can’t blame you on that one! You’ll have a day that looks close to a typical day at overnight camp (9am-9pm), but you get to head home at night. While at camp, lunch and dinner are included.

Day Swim Camps

If you’re a first-timer or would just like to try a swim camp without committing to the long schedules of overnight or extended day camps just yet, then this one is for you. For five days, we’ll run a camp from 9am to 4:30pm, and you’ll be expected to be ready to rock by 8:55am each morning.

Half-Day Swim Camps

The summer is awesome because there’s no school, but it can also be busy for tons of other reasons. If you don’t have time to attend a full day swim camp, then we have a solution for you: half-day swim camp! All participants are expected to know how to swim and arrive ready to rock from 9am through 12pm from Monday through Thursday.

Start and Turn Swim Camp

Are you specifically looking to improve your back and freestyle stroke starts, underwater kicking and flip and open turns? Then this 24-hour program is something you should look into. This includes really cool things like underwater video, along with dry and technique training. This is part of our stroke development camp, and can be attended either by itself or along with it.

Stroke Development Swim Camp

We just mentioned it, so we had to explain it! Once again, campers should already know how to swim for this, but all ability levels will be able to benefit from a week of instruction. Every aspect of competitive strokes will be focused on, including: turn, mechanics, breathing, body positioning and conditioning. The purpose is to maximize individual performance.
